Fairview is located south of Lebanon off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at exit 266 (Lancaster/Lebanon) in the Lebanon Valley, at the base of the South Gretna Mountains.

The golf course is a parkland-style design along broad and narrow, tree-lined fairways with four ponds in play and sand traps along the fairways and defending the modest, oval greens. From the tips, it's 6,305 yards, 69.4/126, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Frank Murray and Russell Roberts in the 1950s with a redesign by Jim Blaukovitch.
