Broad Run is west of West Chester on Strasburg Road in the far western Philadelphia suburbs.

The golf course is a diverse and well-designed parkland layout over a large tract of rolling land on one of the highest points in Chester County, bisected by Broad Run. The course moves along broad fairways on a 370-acre tract of land with 130 feet in elevation change. The fairways are bordered by dense forests or stands of hardwood trees and tall native grasses with a generous amount of sand traps and several water features. There are five sets of tees, and from the tips, it's 6,751 yards, 72.8/136, and course/slope ratings, designed by Rees Jones in 2000.
