Downingtown is 20 miles west of King of Prussia in the far northwest Philadelphia suburb of Downingtown off US 30 on Bus 30.

The course is a traditional parkland layout chiseled through corridors of old-growth, tree-lined fairways. There's a generous amount of sand bunkers along the landing zones and defending the greens, with numerous water hazards in play, mostly on the back nine. It plays to 6,642 yards, 72.1/134 course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees, designed by George Fazio, Tom Fazio's uncle, in 1965.
