Wyncote is near Oxford in the southwest suburbs of Philadelphia, just off US 1 at Limestone Road to the north.

The golf course has a heathland design and an open-links-style layout with scrubby vegetation at the fairway borders and without trees on slightly rolling meadow terrain. There are several water hazards in play, and a variety of pot and conventional sand bunkers sprinkled about the fairways and defending the generous greens. The layout plays to 7,012 yards from the back tees, 71.6/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Brian Ault in 1993.
