WestRidge is 30 minutes north of Dallas in McKinney between the Central Expressway and the North Dallas Tollway off University at Custer.

The course is through a residential community, mostly a links-style layout with a few trees along the borders. There are multiple water hazards in play, with an abundance of sand traps scattered along the fairways and guarding the large, green complexes, and it is somewhat unusual in that it has 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s, and 6 par 5s. There are four sets of tees overall with the Blue tees at 6,651 yards, 72.0/127, course/slope ratings, a Jeff Brauer design.
