Three Ponds Golf Club is 15 minutes southeast of Danville and 15 minutes east of Sunbury on the east side of Elysburg near the Knoebels Amusement Park.

The golf course is a basic parkland layout along hilly and sloping fairways in a scenic setting surrounded by the Alleghenies. In reality, there are 14 ponds along the fairways and greens, with 37 sand traps generally guarding the greens. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,247 yards with a par of 71, 70.1/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Steven Jepko, Sr.
