The Quarry is located just south of the San Antonio Airport off US 281 at Basse Road to the east.

The golf course's front nine is links-style over slightly rolling fairways bordered by tall native grasses with multiple water hazards and an abundance of sand bunkers. The back nine is a drastic change as it marches through a former rock quarry with elevated tees and forced carries over chasms framed by a lake and limestone cliffs at least 125 feet high. It can play to 6,740 yards, 72.4/132, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter sets of tees, a Keith Foster design.
