The Texas A&M University Golf Course is on the northeast side of campus, adjoining the Polo Fields at Texas Ave and George Bush Drive.

The layout is a roomy, parkland/links design over slightly undulating fairways with numerous lakes, ponds, and streams impacting play. The golf course is littered with various pot and conventional sand bunkers defending the fairways and the large, slightly elevated, and contoured greens. It can play as long as 7,008 yards from the tips, 73.8/130, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees, a redesign by Jeff Blume from an original Ralph Plummer/Jackie Burke layout from the 1950s.
