South Padre Island Golf Club is just north of Laguna Vista on Santa Isabella Blvd on the mainland west of S. Padre Island.

The golf course is a links-style design over relatively level topography through a residential development with a few holes along Laguna Madre Bay. It has an open feel and is generally very windy, with water in play on 8 holes and well bunkered throughout. It's 6,931 yards from the back tees, 73.5/129 course/slope ratings with four shorter tee boxes, designed by Chris Cole and Stephen Caplinger.
