Indian Creek is off the Frankford exit of I-35 in Carrollton, 30 minutes north of downtown Dallas with two 18-hole championship courses.
The courses cruise over land along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and the Indian Creek Flood Plain. The Creek Course is a parkland layout with ample landing zones along dense cedar, oak, elm, and mesquite tree-lined fairways with a generous amount of sand bunkers and water hazards on every hole. The Lakes Course is a traditional layout along tree-lined fairways with numerous doglegs, water features, sand bunkers, and massive green complexes. The Lakes is 7,000 yards, 73.8/133, course/slope ratings, while the Creek is 7,235 yards, 75.6/139, course/slope ratings, both from the championship tees with three shorter tees available. Both courses were originally designed by Brad Benz and Dick Phelps in the mid-1980s and redesigned by Jeff Brauer
