Greencastle is off I-81 between Chambersburg and Hagerstown, west of Greencastle, surrounded by farmland and forests

The course roams over rolling hills of south central Pennsylvania in a natural setting. It's a combination of tree-lined holes with slight dog legs and fairways bordering open meadows. Sand bunkers generally defend the greens, Muddy Run and several ponds are in play, and the greens are generous and contoured. Robert Elder designed the course, which plays to 6,892 yards from the tips, 72.6/129, course/slope, with three shorter tee boxes.
