Grand Geneva Resort is on the north side of Lake Geneva, off US 12, and has two 18-hole golf courses.
The Brute lives up to its name as it's a challenging layout over hilly and sloping fairways along streams and a couple of ponds with well-bunkered, massive green complexes. From the tips, the course is 7,085 yards, 73.8/136, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Robert Bruce Harris.
The Highlands was a Pete Dye/Jack Nicklaus collaboration from 1970 that had redesign work by Bob Cupp in the late 1990s. It's more of an open, links-style layout with water hazards, trees, tall heather grasses lining the fairways, well-bunkered fairways, and greens. The course is shorter at 6,659 yards, 71.5/128, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees.
