The Golden Horseshoe Golf Club has two 18-hole courses on Colonial Williamsburg's southeast side.

The Gold Course is the preferred, classic layout over rolling hills along tree-lined fairways with numerous water hazards in play and forced carries across ravines. It's a narrow layout with varying degrees of elevation change, playing to large sculptured and contoured greens well defended by sand bunkers. The course is 6,817 yards, 73.6/138, course/slope ratings from the championship tees with three shorter tee boxes, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., with a renovation by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead.

The Green Course is a traditional resort layout along broad and mounded fairways on similar terrain as the Gold Course but slightly longer. It plays to 7,120 yards, 75.1/142, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Rees Jones.
