Cypress Point CC is just southeast of the Norfolk International Airport off Wesleyan Drive, east of Diamond Springs.

The course is within a residential development and moves over level terrain with an interesting mix of holes. The contoured fairways are tree-lined along several doglegs, with a generous amount of sand bunkers protecting the fairways and greens and several water hazards in play. It was designed by Tom Clark in the 1980s and is 6,541 yards, 71.1/124 course/slope ratings from the tips, with three shorter tees.
