Beaver Dam is on the north side of town on the eastern shore of Beaver Dam Lake.

The golf course is a classic parkland layout with evergreen and oak tree-dotted fairways traveling over slightly undulating topography. It's generally straightforward, save for several gentle doglegs, with a few water features in play and sand bunkers typically defending the modest oval or kidney-shaped greens. It's a short 6,038 yards, 58.3/116 course/slope rating off the back tees with two shorter tees.
