Ashley Plantation is on the north side of Roanoke off I-81 at exit 150 in a scenic setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Meadows and Hills nines make up the championship layout, which meanders through a residential development. The Meadows Nine is somewhat hilly along broad, tree-lined fairways with several strong par 4s and reachable par 5s in two. The Hills is most challenging with significant elevation change and a superb set of par 3s. The Plantation plays to 6,933 yards from the tips, 72.3/130, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by Russell Breeden.
