Alsatian is 30 minutes southwest of San Antonio in Castroville.

The course winds through a residential community with homes along the exterior holes. The fairways are broad, with scattered trees along the borders intersected by numerous streams and ponds and a moderate amount of sand traps. Steve Mrak designed the course in the mid-1990s. It has four sets of tees, from 4,872 yards to 6,436 yards. The Blue tees are 5,962 yards, 68.3/116, course/slope ratings.
