Woodland Hills is south of town on US 59 on the south side of the Nacogdoches Country Club.

The course lives up to its name as it traverses rolling, tree-lined corridors with several forced carries over ponds, and sand bunkers bordering the fairways and greens in a scenic setting without development lining the course. It was designed by Don January in the 1970s. From the back tees, it is 6,620 yards, 72.0/133, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
