Willow Creek is located west of Knoxville off Kingston Pike.

The golf course is a parkland layout with numerous creeks, several ponds, and a modest amount of sand bunkering along the fairways and greens as it traverses tree-lined fairways. It was designed by Bill Oliphant and can play to 7,211 yards from the tips, 74,7/128, course/slope ratings. The white tees are 6,362 yards, 70.7/121.
