Viroqua Hills is 45 minutes south of LaCrosse on the south side of Viroqua split by the US 14 highway, with a tunnel underneath.

The golf course is a classic Wisconsin layout along pine, oak, and birch tree-lined fairways over rolling hills, several of which are significant in elevation change. There's a generous amount of sand bunkers around most of the greens and five holes with potential water hazards, including a waterfall. It plays to 6,376 yards from the tips, 70.8/123, course/slope ratings, or 5,804 yards from the white tees, 68.8/119 with two shorter tees.
