Van Zandt CC is about 20 minutes east of Dallas in Canton, off I-20 at exit 527.

It's a traditional layout along fairways dotted with oak and pine trees over slightly rolling topography. Ponds and streams are in play on multiple holes, and sand bunkers mostly defend the modest green complexes. There are four sets of tees, and from the back tees, it plays to 6,975 yards, 72.1/124, course/slope ratings, designed by Leon Howard in the mid-1960s.
