Firestone is southeast of Youngstown in Columbiana, on OH 14, near the PA border. It was built on Harvey Firestone's original homestead.

The layout partially borders a residential development and is primarily a links-style design with several holes along tree-lined fairways. There are 50+ sand bunkers throughout the fairways and around the greens, with Bull Creek, Beaver Lake, and several ponds in play. There are five sets of tees, with the middle blue tees playing to 6,414 yards, 74.0/127, course/slope ratings, designed by Brian Huntley.
