Brickshire is located midway between Williamsburg and Richmond off I-64 at exit 214.

The layout is a parkland design with varying degrees of elevation change, providing a collection of unique holes. It's mostly wide open off the tee along fairways, which are defined by old-growth hardwood trees with several water hazards and sand traps littering the fairways and greens. The main feature is replica holes from St. Andrews, Augusta National, Pinehurst #2, and Riviera CC. It's an Ault Clark/Curtis Strange design through a residential development that plays to 7,291 yards from the back tees, 75.0/142, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
