The Bridges is about 15 minutes east of Gettysburg and west of York on the west side of Abbottsville on US 30.

The layout provides a mix of narrow, tree-lined fairways carved through the woods and those with scattered trees where recovery is possible. The greens are the course's main defense, all different sizes and shapes, with humps, tiers, undulating, and quick surfaces. There are a moderate amount of sand bunkers along the fairways and the greens, with several water hazards in play. It plays to 6,713 yards, 72.4/136, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tees, and was designed by Fred Altland in 1995.
