Star Valley Ranch is about 4 hours from Salt Lake and 2 hours from Idaho Falls. It is located near the Bridger-Teton National Forest in the Star Valley and has 27 holes.

There's the 9-hole Aspen Hills and the 18-hole Cedar Creek courses through a sparsely populated residential community. The course layouts are straightforward out and back through the development at the base of the Salt River Mountain Range. The fairways are tree-lined over some elevation change and a few holes with water hazards, but they are very playable overall. Both courses were designed by Harold Stewart, the Aspen Hills is 3,100 yards, 34.8/123, course/slope ratings off the back tees, Cedar Creek is 6,446 yards from the tips 69.7/121, course/slope ratings.
