St. Germain is on the west side of Big St. Germain Lake on Route 70, a few miles west of St. Germain.

The golf course is a parkland design carved through the tall red and white pines of the Wisconsin Northwoods. The layout features numerous doglegs, a moderate amount of sand bunkers at the landing zones and greens, and multiple water hazards. It's a shot-maker's layout designed by Don Stepanik, which plays to 6,651 yards from the tips, 72.2/130 course/slope ratings with two shorter tees.
