Saddle Creek is midway between Nashville and Huntsville, east of Lewisburg, 10 minutes off I-65 on the east side of town.

The layout features various holes with a parkland front side and a links-style backside open to the elements. The course is within an Audubon Sanctuary, with Snake Creek traversing the middle of the layout as well as multiple ponds in a natural, scenic setting. From the tips, it plays to 6,713 yards, 72.3/129 course/slope ratings. The white tees, designed by Gene Bates, play to 6,303 yards, 70.9/121 course/slope ratings, with two shorter tees.
