Rocky Run is 20 minutes north of Sioux Falls in Dell Rapids, just off I-29 at SD 155, a few miles to the east.

The layout is a parkland design lumbering along tree-lined fairways over undulating terrain, with homes bordering a few of the exterior holes. Multiple water hazards, either lakes or streams, are in play, but there's minimal sand bunkering. It's 6,424 yards from the back tees, 70.8/122, course/slope ratings with two shorter tees, designed by Gene Reiter.
