Panorama is about 15 minutes north of Carbondale on the north side of Crystal Lake in Clifford.

The golf course meanders along broad, pine-tree-lined fairways over rolling terrain in a natural setting in the Endless Mountains. There are two ponds, numerous slight doglegs, and a moderate amount of sand traps at the landing zones and greenside. Bill Griffiths and Paul Kern designed the course on farmland in 1964, with the former dairy barn serving as the clubhouse. It plays to 6,347 yards off the white tees, with 73.0/115 course/slope ratings.
