Nemadgi is on the south side of Superior off Stinson Avenue, about 20 minutes south of Duluth, with two 18-hole layouts.

The newer East/West course is longer and more challenging, featuring trouble in the form of tree-lined fairways, water hazards, and sand bunkers along hilly and sloping fairways. It was designed by Don Herfort and Roger Packard, and is 6,774 yards, from the tips, 72.2/129, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.

The North/South course is the original layout from the 1930s. and a parkland design along rolling, tree-lined fairways with slight doglegs leading to modest greens defended by sand traps. It's shorter and more playable at 6,319 yards, par 71, 69.5/120, course/slope ratings off the tips with four shorter tees, designed by Stanley Pelcher.
