Mt. Pleasant CC is in eastern Texas, off I-30 between Texarkana and Greenville.

The golf course is a parkland-style layout with tree-lined fairways and is very scenic as it wraps around the forests on the north shore of New City Lake. It is a classic design with the original nine holes by Perry Maxwell from the 1930s. From the tips, it is 6,396 yards, 71.2/138, course/slope ratings, and two shorter tees.
