Luck is a municipal golf course owned by the town of Luck. It is located about 30 minutes north of St. Croix Falls and 1 1/2 hours from Minneapolis on the south side of Big Butternut Lake in this small summer lake community.

The layout is challenging with a moderate change in elevation as it weaves through mature oak and maple, tree-lined fairways. There are views of the Lake from several holes, a little sand, and water in play, but mostly, the narrow fairways will test your course management skills. It's not all that long and makes for a relatively quick round at 6,093 yards from the Blue tees, 70.9/126, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, designed by George Emerson.
