Lewis River is 45 minutes north of Portland in Woodland, only 5 minutes off I-5 at Exit 21 to the east on Lewis River Road.

The layout is a classic, Northwest-style course with thick old-growth trees lining every fairway over level land along the Lewis River. Numerous ponds and Haughton Creek impact play, along with sand traps generally around the greens. It's a scenic location along the River in the foothills of the Cascades, with a great 19th hole overlooking the River. The course originally opened in the 1960s and was designed by Ralph Stading. It has tips at 6,367 yards, 70.4/121, course/slope ratings, and two shorter tees.
