The Lansdowne Resort is northwest of Dulles between Leesburg and Sterling off Route 7, bordering the Potomac River. There are two 18 championship layouts and the 9-hole Sharkbite short course available to guests of the resort.

The Jones layout is a scenic parkland design traversing rolling, tree-lined fairway corridors bordering rock outcroppings and stone walls. It's a challenging, strategic layout with water in play frequently and well-bunked fairways and greens over hilly terrain. It's 7,063 yards, 74.7/145, course/slope ratings off the tournament tees with three shorter tees, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

The Norman course is 300 yards longer with a front side that moves east along the Potomac River while the backside follows along the River west towards Goose Creek. There's an abundance of water hazards and sand traps along fairways bordered by rock outcroppings with numerous doglegs over some elevation change. It will play to 7,332 yards, 75.5/145, course/slope from the tips with three shorter tees, designed by Greg Norman.
