Lake Wissota is north of Chippewa Falls on the east shore of Lake Wissota.

The golf course moves over slightly rolling terrain on Lake Wissota, with homes bordering a few of the exterior holes. It's an entertaining yet playable layout providing numerous doglegs, water hazards, sand traps, and risk/reward opportunities with various narrow and broad fairways off the tee. Don Stepanik designed it, and it is not all that long at 6,015 yards from the tips, par 71, 69.2/120, and course/slope ratings with two shorter tee boxes.
