The Lake Region Country Club is between Lake Poinsett and Lake Albert on US 81 in Arlington.

The golf course is a tale of two types of design. Half the holes are along confining, tree-lined fairways leading to diminutive greens, while the balance roams over broad fairways with scattered young trees at the margins and generous greens. In terms of hazards, multiple marshes/wetlands and a pond are in play, and sand bunkers are sparingly used. There are four sets of tees overall, with the tips playing to 6,442 yards, 71.4/125, course/slope ratings.
