The Jackson Hole Golf Club is on the north side of town, and the Gros Ventre River is a resort residential development.

The layout's setting is 6,200 feet above sea level, with 180-degree views of the Tetons. The layout flows through the community around several lakes and creeks along scattered tree-lined fairways with fingered, sculptured bunkers lining the fairways and guarding the greens. It plays to 7,325 yards par 72, 74.2/135, course/slope rating from the tips with four shorter tees. It is an original Bob Baldock design redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.
