Hunter Station is located on the north side of the Allegheny River, three miles south of Tionesta on Route 62 and five miles east of Oil City.

The course is an entertaining mountain-style parkland layout. The front side has an impressive elevation change, while the balance on the back is along level, river-bottom land. It was designed by Jack Sherman and is only 5,174 yards, par 69, 65.0/110, course/slope ratings from the back tees with two shorter tees.
