Horseshoe is a resort on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson near Marble Falls. It has three Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed golf courses and the Summit Rock layout by Jack Nicklaus, a private club.

Slick Rock traverses hilly, tree-lined fairways bordered by rock outcroppings with over 70 sand bunkers, water in play on half the holes, and the "Million Dollar Hole," where a 35-yard cart path passes through a waterfall. Ram Rock, the Challenger, traverses narrow and pinched, rolling tree-lined fairways with 60+ sand bunkers, water hazards in play on ten holes, and numerous dry creeks. It plays to a par 71 at 6,926 yards, 75.6/137, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees.

Apple Rock ascends the higher, rugged land above Lake LBJ with stunning views from the elevated tees, water hazards on 6 holes, and 56 sand bunkers defending the fairways and greens. It's 6,999 yards, par 72, with a 75.4/136, course/slope ratings from the back tees with three shorter tees.
