Horn Rapids is north of Richland on Rt 240 within a residential development.

The golf course is referred to as a desert design since, of the fairways, it's desert-like waste areas and scrub brush, but it has more of an open-links feel to it overall. There are several water hazards in play and sand bunkers along the fairways and securing the greens. It's an entertaining and challenging Keith Foster design that opened in the mid-90s and plays to 7,060 yards from the tips, 73.9/139, course/slope ratings with five shorter tees.
