Greystone is 30 minutes west of Nashville in Dickson off I-40 at exit 172, then north to Dickson and east on US 70.

The golf course is hilly and entertaining, with various interesting holes, though some are less straightforward. The layout is pure golf without housing or development in play and features open and links style fairways over rolling contours and a few traditional, tree-lined corridors. The course moves through rock boulder formations with tall fescue grasses lining the fairways along several streams and a large lake. It was designed by Mark McCumber and plays to 6,858 yards from the tips, par 72 and 73.1/132, course/slope ratings with four shorter tees.
