Green Valley is southeast of Providence on Union Street in Portsmouth on Aquidneck Island.

The layout is parkland style, along broad, tree-lined fairways over level land. Several water hazards are in play, and a moderate amount of sand bunkers defend the slightly elevated, generous greens. Manuel Raposa designed it in 1957. It's 6,830 yards from the back tees, 72.6/128, course/slope ratings with three shorter tees.
