Fossil Creek is located off I-35W to the east, 20 minutes north of Ft. Worth, between Fossil Creek Blvd and Western Center Blvd.

The golf course is an entertaining layout as it winds through a residential development and former limestone quarry along broad and rolling, tree-lined fairways, with Fossil Creek traversing the middle of the course from east to west. There's an impressive collection of sand traps defending the fairways and greens, water hazards on 16 holes, carries over ravines, and numerous doglegs. It plays to 6,865 yards, 73.7/138, course/slope ratings from the tips with three shorter tee boxes, and an Arnold Palmer design.
