The Erie Golf Club is a municipal course located on the south side of Erie off I-90 at the I-79 exit to the north.

The golf course was originally carved out of deep woods over rolling topography with fairways defined by old-growth hardwoods. Consistent with 100-year-old designs, the greens are modest in size and oval-shaped with sufficient undulation. There are 35 sand bunkers in play along the landing areas and greenside with minimal water features. It's a par of 69 and 5,682 yards, 70.6/126, course/slope ratings from the blue tees with two shorter tees, originally designed by A.W. Tillinghast with a renovation by Richard Mandell.
