Draper Valley is between Radford and Wytheville, just off I-81 at exit 89 on the north side of the Interstate.

The golf course is a parkland-style design moving along tree-lined fairways over rolling contours with water features on over half the holes in a scenic setting without homes or development. It was designed by Harold Louthen and plays to 7,070 yards, 73.5/127, course/slope ratings from the black tees with three other sets of shorter tees.
