Dogwood Trace is a municipal golf course in Petersburg about 30 minutes south of Richmond off I-85 at Exit 65 or I-95 off Exit 48.

This classic parkland layout winds along broad and narrow fairways defined by trees, with sand bunkers defending the landing zones and contoured greens of varying sizes. There's water in play on seven holes, with the majority of it on the target-style backside. It can play to 6,605 yards off the tips, 71.6/132 course/slope ratings with three shorter tees, and design work by Fred Findlay, Algie Pulley, and most recently by Ault Clark.
