The Darlington Country Club is 15 miles northeast of Florence on the northeast side of Darlington in the South Carolina sandhills.

The layout is over level, pine-tree-lined, straightforward fairway corridors with generous oval, raised greens defended by sand bunkers and ponds and streams in play on six holes. There are four sets of tees; the white tees are 5,678 yards, 67.4/122, course/slope ratings with redesign work by Richard Mandell.
