Dakota Creek is south of the Canadian border in Custer, 5 miles east of Blaine, off the I-5 at exit 274.

The front side is somewhat tame as it ambles through former dairy farm fields down into a ravine and crosses Dakota Creek. The newer, not walkable, backside moves up into the hills overlooking the Pacific and the San Juan Islands, and the more challenging side, but with stunning views. It's a bit short and sometimes quirky, though, at 5,185 yards at the tips, 65.1/103 yards, course/slope ratings.
