Crown Point is 30 minutes south of Hanover, off I-91 to the west.

The layout is a parkland design over rolling hills in a scenic setting in the country surrounded by forests and fields. There are a few mundane holes; otherwise, it's a challenging layout with numerous doglegs and narrow approaches where course management and the short game prevail. There are several ponds in play and sand traps primarily positioned at the sides of the greens. From the tips, the course plays to 6,612 yards, 71.3/128, course/slope ratings, with three shorter tees, designed by Geoffrey Cornish and William Mitchell.
