Cross Creek is 20 minutes west of Salem and north of Dallas in the Mid-Willamette Valley surrounded by fields and forests.

The golf course is a wide open, links-style layout with scattered young trees at the fairway's borders in a scenic setting without homes or development along the holes. Water is the dominant feature here with a large lake, numerous ponds, and the Hoekstre Slough traversing the middle of the layout. There are four sets of tees with the tips playing to 6,884 yards, 72.9/124, course/slope ratings, and a William Robinson design.
